Why sourcing gets complicated

Finding Furniture Is the Easy Part. Managing Every Supplier Isn't.

A single project may involve different factories, quotations, materials, production schedules, payment stages and quality standards.

The challenge isn't finding products.

It's keeping every order aligned from selection to final delivery.

PRACTICAL QUESTIONS

What Buyers Usually Want to Know Before Starting.

Clear answers help you decide whether Kirin is the right local team for your project.

01Do I need to come to Foshan in person?

Not necessarily. Kirin can coordinate sourcing and project follow-up locally while you are overseas. If you plan to visit, we can also help organize a focused Foshan buying route.

02Can Kirin help with a whole-home furniture project?

Yes. Kirin can coordinate furniture sourcing across rooms and suppliers around one project brief, including the practical work that follows product selection.

03Can you source furniture from reference images or drawings?

Yes. Reference images, drawings and specifications can be used to identify suitable supplier options and discuss customization. Production details still need to be confirmed before ordering.

04Is there a minimum order or project value?

Kirin does not set a fixed minimum project value. However, we generally do not handle single-item international furniture sourcing because cross-border logistics costs usually make it uneconomical. MOQ may still apply depending on the selected supplier, product or customization requirements.

05How does Kirin charge for furniture sourcing?

Kirin does not add an additional sourcing service fee to the furniture you purchase. For on-site Foshan visits, the basic accompanying and translation service is charged separately. Private transportation, airport pickup, third-party inspection, logistics and other third-party costs are also separate where applicable.

06How do furniture contracts and payments work?

Furniture purchase contracts are generally made directly between you and the selected supplier. Furniture payments are also made directly to the relevant supplier. Kirin helps coordinate the sourcing and project process but is generally not the seller under the furniture purchase contract.

07What happens if a quality issue is found?

Kirin documents the issue, communicates the required correction and reviews the result again where appropriate. This helps you see the issue before deciding whether an item should move to the next stage; it is not a promise of zero defects.

08Can different suppliers' orders be consolidated?

Kirin can help coordinate orders from different suppliers for consolidation, packing and shipment preparation where applicable. The exact arrangement depends on the project and confirmed service scope.

09Can Kirin help arrange international shipping?

Kirin can help coordinate shipment preparation and communication for international shipping. The exact scope depends on the destination and project; customs, tax, insurance and final-delivery responsibilities must be confirmed separately.

10What should I send Kirin to get started?

Send a floor plan, furniture list, reference images, destination and expected timeline. A budget range is also useful when available, but your specification does not need to be finished before the first conversation.
